Here are 5 reasons some sellers believe this:

  1. Some sellers have limited sales skill and do not know how to identify new business prospects.
  2.  Some sellers have limited sales talent and are not driven to constantly develop new customers.
  3. No lead generation system exists.
  4. The compensation plan does not incent sellers to look for new accounts.
  5. Some sellers are lazy.

Business problems are solved and sales improve when managers do something about the items on this list.
